Job Overview


To contribute to the effective development, implementation and management of M&N CENTRE policies, procedures and processes for quality assurance and development, and within this remit provide the highest quality professional services to students, staff, and external stakeholders.

 

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will design and implement tests, work on technical documents in order to ensure timely, relevant and meaningful feedback. You would be required to plan and implement strategies for quality management and testing. Hence the role involves your contribution to ensure that the standards and quality of production is maintained at its best at all times.

Job Roles

Main duties and responsibilities

 

The main duties and responsibilities of a quality assurance specialist are as follows-

● Ensuring and inspecting that the quality of products and services standards of the company is maintained throughout its operations

● Help with operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels as well as looking into other KPIs

● Perform regular inspections and quality tests

● Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and standards

● Plan and execute company complaint and execution procedures

● Work closely with the development team to continuously improve the quality of existing products and services

● Create Audit reports and make recommendations for improvement

● Create training materials and an operational guidebook

● Enhancement activities, including seminars and good practice workshops

● Academic regulations

● Validation and review of academic courses

● External examiner approval and reporting

● Support for committee secretariat, including Assessment Boards

● Management, development and update of quality assurance policy and procedures and related documentation.

● Annual course and module monitoring

● Providing advice and leadership on policies to enhance the student experience

● Appeals and complaints

The successful candidate will have the following essential attributes:

· An experienced administrator

· Knowledge and understanding of quality assurance in a further or higher education context

· Evidence of being a highly organised operative

· Proven ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team

· Accuracy and attention to detail

· A highly effective communicator, verbally and in writing

● Hands on experience with production and quality assurance

● Understanding the best practices in the industry

● Experience and exposure to the production industry

● Work experience with professionals in the production industry
